Broward Health marked a significant construction milestone on October 8, 2025, celebrating the “topping out” of its new Sunrise Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED). The event signifies the completion of the facility’s structural frame — a key step toward project completion.
Located in Sunrise, Florida, the 18,056-square-foot facility is on track for completion in May 2026. Once open, it will provide the community with expanded access to high-quality, convenient emergency care.
